Original 19&3/4 x 30" 1984 photo-collage (printed on Kodak semi-gloss photo paper) pre-press test proof for a collage created for John Platt's 1984 book about the Yardbirds; 
Photo is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is a moderate degree of curling to the paper (was rolled up for many years), along with a bit of light surface wear (a few light scratches/fingerprints), a few smudges on the reverse and a couple of tiny pin-prick handling/stress dings here and there, otherwise OK.
 
Very neat-looking Yardbirds piece, incorporating the BG 33 Fillmore poster, a vintage Gibson Les Paul, assorted 60's artifacts and totems (a banana, a joint and a pipe, a silk caftan and numerous magazine clippings/45's...)- great-looking period piece, not sure if it was actually used for the book- possibly a cover proposal? Not sure...
